Getting Here

37 MINUTES FROM LONDON, 57 MINUTES TO PARIS!
With Farnborough airport literally on the doorstep, international travel is made easy for the FAST Museum!

But of course, most of our visitors find us in somewhat more prosaic modes of transport...

Farnborough is on the London to Southampton rail line and is just 37 minutes from central London by train.  Farnborough Main rail station is just a 5 minute taxi ride or 20 minute walk away.

Junctions 4 and 4A of the M3 are minutes away and the Museum is just 15 miles from junction 12 of the M25, making Heathrow and Gatwick airports readily accessible.

The Museum is situated on the A325 Farnborough Road, close to the Eastern end of the main runway at Farnborough Airfield.

The main bus route up the A325 through Farnborough, from Camberley to Aldershot, is Stagecoach Route 1.  Go to www.travelinesoutheast.org.uk for more bus details.

Group Visits
If you would like to visit the Museum as a group, let us know and we can plan it with you.  We can have the right guides there for you and arrange facilities and refreshments.

Although the Museum is only open to the general Public at weekends and bank holiday Mondays, group bookings, including school parties, can be accommodated by prior arrangement only on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Phone the Museum on 01252 375050 or Email

Eating and Shopping
The museum has a coffee lounge which is open during museum opening hours, serving hot and cold drinks, cakes and biscuits.

Farnborough town centre with a wide range of shops and eating, including ASDA and Sainsburys, is a 10 minute walk away.
